Well, for those who do, we need to get leash laws passed in all states. Dogs are on leashes, and so should cats. They are a menace, and don’t have to be. I have a cat that goes for adventures with me in a backpack and on a harness. Bells on cats’ collars are not effective. Birds are constantly on edge from cats climbing in trees and harassing them. Even with bells, the birds still have to worry about finding proper safety to even sleep at night. We need to really think about the ecology of our planet. We cannot live without birds; no one would ever want that. There is no shortage of domesticated cats, but wild birds could disappear forever, and our souls with them.

Cats get physical and mental stimulation when they are allowed safe time outdoors. Bringing up the study about the devastating effect cats have on local wildlife populations is creating hatred towards them. Those studies have been debunked. Domestic cats exist on 3 percent of the landmass of the US. Domestic cats are not in forests, plains or mountains where most of our wildlife lives.

When I lived on our farm my cats went outside now I have neighbours and close road so bought some tunnels and a hut plus also take her in a harness sometimes she is a Black Manx seems happy
