Am I correct in assuming that, as a disabled stray (both front paws are bent backwards…facing up, and she walks on her joints just above the paws) she couldn’t defend herself and was vulnerable while eating and peeing/pooping. (she “showed up” and adopted me with lots of scabs from apparently getting beaten up a lot) My assumption is this display of anxiety from previous trauma is a kind of PTSD. Any suggestions for helping her get past this? Thanks, from Jesse and Charlie
