I was considering this brand, so went looking for their website to find out what the consistency of their food is (picky cats). But, their website no longer functioning. Both the feringa site and Matina Gmbh come up with "account suspended".

This seemed weird, so I then looked at google reviews for Matina Gmbh and there are a lot of folks reporting plastic in their foods recently. As well as a variety of other complaints, like bone splinters in dog food, no responses from the company when questioned, food which smells bad, a manufacturing plant with non-existing factory code, etc. Mostly for their dog food, but cat food as well.

On Trustpilot, there are reports of dogs dying from dogbones produced by them, containing salmonella infected chicken imported from China.

It believe this (has been?) a good company. Their brands are frequently recommended at least. I fed my own cats purizon kibble before I switched to purely wet food. And I still give them cosma snacks (well, I did until today).

The company seems too much of a risk now. I will no longer be feeding anything made in their factories.

Hello! Can someone please help me a little bit by taking a quick look over these two products and tell which one would be considered healthier? Feringa Turkey Cold-Pressed(https://www.zooplus.com/shop/cats/dry_cat_food/feringa/feringa_dry_coldpressed/1005777?activeVariant=1005777.3) and Carnilove Fresh Chicken & Rabbit(https://www.zooplus.com/shop/cats/dry_cat_food/carnilove/1949208?activeVariant=1949208.0). Feringa is cold pressed but the first ingredient is *dried* turkey while Carnilove has *fresh* chicken as first ingredient but it's cooked. My untrained eye doesn't see a significant difference in the quantity of additives where I would expect Feringa to have less of them due to being cold-pressed and resulting in a better retaining of nutrients. Thank you!
