Whether raw ingredients in Orijen Original could be contaminated with the bird flu virus is a question best addressed directly with the brand. They can provide the most accurate and current information about their sourcing and safety measures.

I would very much appreciate a review of 2 of Orijen's formulas, both wet/canned recipes:
1) Chunks and Shreds Duck and Liver Entree in Bone Broth
2) Duck and Chicken Entree in Bone Broth
My kitties love, love, love Duck, but in recent years, many cat food brands with Duck recipes have begun replacing much of the duck protein with Pea Powder Protein. I am sure Pea Protein is less expensive, but it is unsuitable for Cats as felines need animal protein. Not to mention, my kitties won't eat food containing Pea protein; they don't like it!

Also, how healthy are these 2 recipes for older cats? My girls are 18 and 19 years young.

Thank you -

The cans of Regional Red that I have say Product of Thailand. I bought it because I thought it was a US or Canadian product, but I see that it’s not. Have they outsourced this now?

I posted before but don’t see my comment.

Hello CatMom, what brand do you use now instead of Orijen. I want to switch for the same reasons now that I have read your comment unfortunately a year later. Mars is another brand that’s owned by the ELITES!! THANKS😻

What? Do you have proof for any of those things you just stated? They'd have to list that as an ingredient...
