Some of the Purizon cat foods have identical ingredients to Farmina N&D cat foods. So if you cannot buy Purizon where you live maybe you can find Farmina. They have more of a selection of chicken and wild boar. Purizon seems to buy food from other existing brands and relabels. The cold pressed has same ingredients as Markus Muehle. But the wild boar and chicken with fish that your cat seems to like would be Farmina.

In reply to <a href="https://cats.com/purizon-cat-food-review#comment-96434">Veronica Magnussen</a>.

Hello Veronica, thank you for asking! That's a great question. The caloric weight basis is calculated by looking at the caloric density of the food and the percentage by weight of each nutrient. By considering the calorie content of each nutrient type, we're able to find out how calories are distributed across the food. In most cases, though, the dry matter analysis is the most common and the easiest to interpret. I would look at that one first!
