I adopted a cat who was very finicky. I’ve never had a cat who wasn’t satisfied with whatever I fed them, so it was a little frustrating for me. Whatever I tried, including Smalls she would love for a couple days, and then stopped eating it. I found Soulistic on the Petco website and ordered the Moist & Tender Tuna & Duck and Tuna & Turkey pouch meals. Finally, she will eat consistently. I also bought Weruva’s Cats in the kitchen Chick Magnet flavor and she loves that as well. I still have some of the Smalls that I bought because Cats.com rated it the best wet food. Every few days I’m able to get her to eat some of it, but then she doesn’t like it again. I’m so glad I found the Soulistic brand.

I purchased Soulistic while searching for a food with a high moisture content. My Grizz has CKD, high thyroid and a heart condition. He needs extra moisture. I use this food as a supplement to his diet, 1/2 to a full can at lunchtime. The amount of moisture in this did is more than any other I have tried and he really enjoys it.

My cat was itching and stopped eating her food , so I bought soulistic duck with gravy and she can’t get enough ! She loves it !! also tried the beef in gravy and she loves that too . She was from a hoarding situation and had to have most of her teeth removed when I adopted her . Only problem now is she meows at me to feed her more lol. I give it an A. Oh and she has almost completely stopped itching .

In reply to Frances P Reilly. To be fair, most stews contain chunks (think of a chunky beef stew!), so I'm not entirely sure if the food is the problem. It sounds like you're doing your best with what you have, and you do a good job of helping your cat.

REGARDING SOULISTIC STEW STYLE IN GRAVY TUNA AND SALMON.
MY CAT SEEMS TO ENJOY THE FLAVOR AND EATS MOST OF IT. I DO MASH IT WITH A FORK TO MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO HARD LUMPS OR STRINGY PIECES. BUT I DO NOT CATCH EVERYTHING.
THE PROBLEM ARISES WHEN SHE COMES ACROSS A LUMPY PIECE AND THEN GAGS OR SPITS IT OUT. OCCASIONALLY IF SHE EATS TOO FAST SHE WILL THROW UP BECAUSE OF AN UNDIGESTED PIECE CAUGHT SOMEWHERE. THEN SHE REFUSES THE FOOD FOR A WHILE.
MY QUESTIONS –IT IS LABELED “STEW STYLE” SO WHY DOES IT HAVE CHUNKS AND SINCE CATS DO NOT CHEW WELL, WHY CAN’T THE FOOD MANUFACTURES DO BETTER WITH THEIR QUALITY COTROL???
