My two healthy cats have been really ill since been on untamed cat food. I transitioned them slowly onto this food. My vet mentioned that their practice had seen other cases with the same issue with this food. So I am no longer giving them untamed.

In reply to Echo. I did notice the fish was suddenly not a full tone and yes was very runny. The other tins of the same fish looked different so I hope they rectify this soonest.

My wee senior rescue lady came to me 2 years ago, a very slight girl who really needed to put on some weight, but always just picked at her food. Tried the Untamed trial and my jaw dropped when I first offered it to her. Just a wee sniff then it was head down until she’d scoffed the lot before licking the bowl clean! After only a month I can see such a difference in Meesha – she’s still loving the grub (although I’ve had to work out what her preferred choices are!) she’s slowly putting on weight, and just seems to have a bit more of a zing about her! It actually brings me so much joy just to watch her eating.

In reply to Echo. Strange, I have just tried the trial tins with my kitten who eats anything, he loved them so ordered a months worth. I opened four different tins even the same recipe he had in the trial tins but he just won't touch them! I'm so mad I will be returning the tins at my own cost but I want a refund.

The write up states Untamed is wet food only. They added a very good dry food range in 2023 and my cats love it.

There seems to be no way of contacting Untamed. When I put a question in the on-line chat I got an immediate answer from A.I which was irrelevant to the question (I was asking whether the chicken is free-range and this wasn’t in their suggested questions). Quite ironic that a company called Untamed is totally a
rtificial intelligence!

In reply to Madeline. Hi Madeleine you can add phosphate binder to your cats food. We did this for our dog two years ago and changed his diet and his kidney score has back to normal.
